Cassondra started training with me during the latter end of November in 2023. She came in with some recent gym experience but was brand new with the barbell. She later told me that during her first gym walk through, it seemed as though I was trying to talk her out of joining. Well, if that's the case I am glad I wasn't able to, because she has become amazingly proficient with the barbell. Not without set backs, but she has always bounced back quick and better than ever before. The day I am writing this I was looking back at her numbers those first few months and was astonished at just how far she came. On September 22nd of 2025 she etched herself into the 500lb club by totaling 500lbs; 187.5lb squat, 82.5lb OHP, and 230lb deadlift.

She has a remarkable ability to perform even on the toughest days. I remember the first time we ever went to max out on squat; I massively underpredicted her singles and she blew them out of the water. It is as if when she hits new heights there is a new found level of confidence, and she catapults herself with that momentum. What was heavy becomes light, and what was once a grindy single or failed set soon becomes just another day. She's STRONG, both physically and willed, and she has so much ahead of her with the barbell. I'm grateful to be able to see what she has accomplished so far and extremely excited to see where she takes it and how she uses her skillset going forward!
